I'm using rytec xmltv for mostly UK/German TV but for my 'home' Polish channels it's nearly useless - perheaps after few channel reorganisations there was no info and right now after clearing epg and doing fresh import great number of channels have no epg and few have it wrong way.

Attached you will find setting grouped in 3 list NO EPG / WRONG EPG / OTHER.

To have some stats we have 2 wrong EPGs, 79 'NO EPG' and 49 in 'OTHER'

Please let me know how can I provide more info if needed.

BTW:For NatGeo and National GEO - this channels are diffrent in HD versions (Cinemax HD, Discovery HD, Animal Planet HD, TVP HD have it the same way), but Foxlife HD, HBO HD have the same schedule as SD versions.

BTW2: TVP HD, BBC HD are added today by Cyfra+ provider (TVP HD was available earlier by 'N' provider).

I am using at moment http://tv.wp.pl for the program information.

Do you know another website with tv-guide info, as this website does not contain all the channels you want.

If have checked our present polish package and found that it is still current. (Since nobody complained - I did not pay attention to it)

Could you try something for me pls.

I have build a new channels file on the basis of the data you provided.

If you place both the attached files on your box in etc/epgimport
Select the Test Poland source, and do a manual import.

Watch if some more channels have now epg. The channels which should have epg you can find by opening the poland.channels.xml file in a text editor.

Pls. report the result.

OK. After test sources/channels we have nearly all channels included in xml working, not sure about

but only because right now have totaly diffrent channel list (just setup new motorised dish) and that channel are missing - will test it later.

We have 1 error - CinemaxHD has diffrent schedule that Cinemax and the same for Discovery vs Discovery HD.

This helps me. I am relieved that my old file still worked, although with new channel mappings.

I will start on generating the epg for the other channels, but it will take some time. (a couple of days - at most a week)

Yes ESP is EuroSport. After some screening it seems that Polsat should be best provider for EPG (it even provides EPG for 4fun.tv (unavailable even on 4fun.tv website).

Agreed that the polsat website contains the most epg.
However - I cannot reliable read it.

It skips programs.
Hopefully I can solve the problem.

But - I have added already several channels to the package - they will be available by tomorrow. Use the normal Rytec Poland XMLTV setting for this.

At the moment I have included all the channels in the xmltv file

From which I cannot find epg or cannot read the info.

All other channels have been included. Could you pls. check them out.
Take a special look to the polsat channels, as these required a new method of grabbing for me. It think I mastered it. But an independ check cannot not hurt.

The above channels have been included now. Except mango24. (see http://www.stopklatk...anal.php?id=458) for the reason.

The channel file will be updated asap.

As I mentioned before I have problems with reliable reading the Cyfrowypolsat website. So I can not used at the moment. There is also a problem with the epg itself as this is denoted today, tomorrow and so on. But which day is today at 2 o'clock in the morning?

have their own schedule (in current version their schedule is equal to SD which is incorrect).

I also checked other polish providers and some channels are in 'NO_EPG' group.

I have all of the above mentioned channels added, except mango - for previous mentioned reason and TV TRWAM.

Every thing will be available tomorrow morning.

TV TRWAM - Is this channel know under a different name?

Hmm I still can't see the diffrence after import TVP HD is equal TVP1 , Filmbox is equal to Filmbox HD etc - TVP HD , Filmox HD should have other data. Maybe I'm testing that wrong but for me all is working the same way as week ago...?

In the xmltv file filmboxHD and filmbox (to concentrate on these channels) have a different schedule.

In our file however TVPHD and Filmbox HD had a double link. First to the epg of the HD channel and a link to the Sd channel. in this case the link which is the last one in the list wins. in this case thus the SD channel.

I have corrected this, and submitted the corrections to rytec for publication.

On question:

Is the epg presented in correct language?

for instance when a look at the file on my PC it looks like this:

<desc>Haley odkrywa, ¿e jej m±¿ Jack skrywa przed ni± jakie¶ mroczne sekrety. Jej ¿yciu i ¿yciu nienarodzonego dziecka grozi niebezpieczeñstwo.</desc>

This looks to me not correct. However i have seen this effect before and the epg on the box was nevertheless correct. But I have seen the reverse also.

OK checked and still there are errors after import tvp hd is equal to tvp 1 and filmbox=filmbox hd).
Import was done without downloaded channels file if this thing matter...

?
