hi
i am having a problem with the Vuduo remote i have programmed the remote to use the volume up/down for my samsung lcd tv.
The problem is that the remote (vol up/down) now stopped working on my VuDuo.
I previously owned a DM800 on that remote you couldt switch between dreambox and Tv.
Maybe i there is somekind of plugin to overcome this problem or Is there a factory reset for the remote?
Or the Vu+ ir code?

Dont know if i am allowed to post this on pli support because its not image related but i dont now where else to go.
Already mailed Vu support but they come back with the reply look in the manual (where theres nothing to be found about this problem)

Thanx but already tried that one it doesn`t work, i really think i messed up the remote.
Strange thing is that i also have a vu solo and that remote does not work on the duo (everything but the volume keys)

In case you want to reset the configured TV set-up of your RCU,
Press Sequence: <<1 + 6>>, <9>, <9>, <6>

1. Press 1and 6 for three seconds until LED is on.
2. Press <9>, <9>, <6>.
3. This will reverse the RCU into no configuration state.

Thanx i tried but still no luck.
The green led on the box lights up when i press up/down but nothing happens.

a vuduo ir remote is programmable? did I miss something?
I thought it is not/?/ (at least mine does not seem to be... )
//and I still suspect your problem has something to do with hdmicec, did you try to de-install hdmicec setup plugin completely?

That depends on when you bought the box. Originally the R/C was not programmable; the present ones are and come with the Solo, UNO & DUO..
You can recognize the programmable R/C by the presence of a 'TV'-button on the top left.

And the LED was steady 'on' after step 1?

That depends on when you bought the box. Originally the R/C was not programmable; the present ones are and come with the Solo, UNO & DUO..
You can recognize the programmable R/C by the presence of a 'TV'-button on the top left.

OK, so you indeed have a progammable R/C and the first art went well. If you executed the second part as well, you're then sure that your R/C will not influence your TV.
So if there's still the problem you had, it must be down to HDMI-CEC. Make sure to have that disabled.
The fact that the LED on your box lights up on pushing a button, doesn't mean a command is being executed. It only means that an IR-command has bene received.

Ok but i already uninstalled the HDMI-CEC plugin so that cant be the problem, or is there somewhere els a setting for HDMI-CEC.
What puzzels me is that the remote for the VU solo also wont work on the Duo (vol up/down) all other buttons work.
It couldt be that the solo is on a different ir channel but i dont think that`s likely?

Finally!
The code to reset the remote seems to be ok!
HDMI-CEC was turned to off, BUT you have to put al the settings in HDMI-CEC OFF!
For some reason switching off the HDMI-CEC to off didnt work for me, but after putting everything in the HDMI-CEC menu to OFF its working again.
