Hi, the PCTV nanoStick DVB-T2 (290e) is supported and working on the VU+(VIX and BH) and ET boxes that already have the newer kernels and has been for a while.

AFAIK this the first DVB-T2 USB, I'd like to install it on my 8k, How would I go about porting/installing modules/drivers for Pli 3 with the new kernel. I can't compile anything but I'm ok with the cli

Thanks for any info.

The "top" PCB contains an NXP TDA18271HDC2 tuner.

The "bottom" PCB contains an Empia em28174 controller chip and Sony CXD2820R demodulator

BTW This stick is on offer on Amazon UK at the moment for £55 delivered.

VU+ images obviously have drivers for PCTV 290e. Not Dreambox. The reason might be the arrogant attitude of this PLi team. They just don`t bother to answer you.

Care to explain?

OpenPLi 3.0 is alpha, it's not ready for use, it's not finished and complete yet. Especially in the area of USB support there are still a lot of challenges, even for ET's and VU's.

Many answers to your question can be found in our wiki. Currently using: VU+DUO, ET9000, and a DM7025+. (Interested in some DM7000's or a DM7025+ (new in box)? I've got them for sale!)

Hi, I see the drivers (em28xx) are now available on the download server for this device.

Using last nights build 3.2

When I install these it all seems to go well until the end when I get this error message

FATAL: module em28xx_dvb not found.

Does anyone care to comment and advise this time ?

those FATAL errors are 'normal' (modprobe runs before depmod), the driver will be found after reboot

Thanks, for some reason it wouldn't initialize while there was a USB stick in the other port, removed that and then all ok, I was then able to re-insert the stick !

Hello guys,

I can't make my PCTV T2 USB nano work with VU+ULTIMO and OpenPLi 3.0...
The USB stick light is blue but I can't see the tuner C... Can you point me where
can be problem please?
