Hi,

I have an DM800 with Pli2.1 (kernel 2.6.18-7.4).
I have installed module v4l-dvb-module-dvb-a867 via telnet. I have inserted my A867 DTT Avermedia but it was not appearing in enigma2 interface as a new tuner.

So i checked if the module was being loaded and there was no dvb-a867.ko when executing lsmod.

It is not being loaded automatically after a boot (with usb dtt a867 inserted).
I have , at the moment added it manually (modprobe dvb-a867) in /etc/rcS.d/Sxxxx
but i do not want this to be erased after an opkg update/upgrade.

How and whre should i add it ?

Thanks. I was not looking for a plugin.....something more simple.

After searching better the forum, i found this:

add startup command in
/etc/init.d/load_a867

and simply run:
update-rc.d load_a867 defaults.

It seems working, anyway this is what i was looking for.

big thank you "attaros" for your answer..

with "usbtuner all .ipk" my hauppauge aero (mini stick hd) don' t scan.. ( siano mobile)

i remove opkg usbtuner all .ipk..

i load v4l/dvb/siano

in my folder/lib/modules/2.618-7/dm800/kernel/drivers/media/dvb/siano
smsdvb.ko
smsusb.ko
smsmdtv.ko ( not supplied. for "siano" i think.)

i try like you say :

etc/init.d/load_v4l-dvb-usb-siano (inside : update-rc.d load_v4l-dvb-usb-siano)


work perfect.. .. !
