Or simply close the thread, as the testkit has now expired, dm7020hd and dm8000 have ubifs in the meantime and I was told that on the small boxes there are kernel(size) problems and hence their PLi kernel doesn't include UBIFS which I accepted. This means every kernel update would grill such converted images, therefore JTR simply doesn't make sense anymore.

JTR Special Edition actually NEVER was designed and communicated as a permanent Image to ubifs converter, as the same was with Marsu Plugin on the Dreamboxes which is now also back to the Jungle. It was ONLY for prooving that latests kernel, drivers and UBIFS work nicely with PLI 3.0 core, and this is done now since weeks alryeady.

Instead of accepting this, or maybe politely asking if the project could be continued or what alternatives are availabe, we had just lots of unfriendly OT stuff and due to this I will not give any further input how to fix the problem or produce a new kit.

Just a final hint:

Current dFlash can nicely convert Images between jffs2 and ubifs for root filesystem on ALL Dreamboxes, and it is NOT my fault that this fails on the 500hd and 800se due to the kernel limitations that PLi has implied on these boxes. But as PLi is Open Source everybody can build his own kernel with the needed ubifs modules, so I don't see any problem I or JTR need to fix for you anymore.
