I'm considering the following setup:

two motorized dishes

one dish has a unicable twin lnb

other dish has a normal lnb

disecqc 1.2 switch to switch between the two dishes

one cable coming down from the switch to an XTRend 9500 with two sat-tuners which are connected through

can this be made to work?

thanks

jean

Yes. But you won't be able to use both dishes at the same time.

Yes. But you won't be able to use both dishes at the same time.

For that reason I thought  of substituting the switch by a unicable router which also understands Diseq 1.2, unfortunately the unicable router I have now (TechniRouter mini ) only understands Diseq 1 :-(
