Hi,

I use OpenPli 3.0 (Receiver: Et9200). Everything works pretty well except the support for audio cd with an external usb cd rom connected via usb. Is there any chance to get this functionality up and running? What do I need? Is there a cdfs module for open pli available or can I use gstreamer to accomplish my goal? There are a few threads around but so far I haven't got any working solution for my problem.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi PLi-team,

on xtrend boxes with 3.8.7 kernel cdfs kernel modul don't work. The error message "cdfs: Unknown symbol kernel_thread (err 0)" is shown in the system log. I found this patch in the internet: https://mailman.arch...ary/188789.html

I had to adapt the patch a little bit. I also added #if #else #end to avoid problems with older kernels. I have tested it only with the 3.8.7 kernel. Playback of audio cds works with the patched kernel modul.

Please add patch to OpenPli3 and 4 oe core. Thanks!

@brau21 and trottel: Thanks for testing!
