SESE - Quick start tutorial (turn on captions for additional informations)

 

This application will allow you to simply edit Enigma1 & Enigma2 services with only few clicks. You load the list, choose satellites you want and you’re done. All unselected satellites, empty bouquets and markers are automatically removed from the list.

 

Requirements
• Windows XP SP2 or newer, Linux, Mac OS X
• .NET Framework 3.5 for Windows or Mono 2.8 or newer for Linux and MacOs X
• 5 MB of free disk space

• option to move any satellite with corresponding transponders and services to another satellite position
• option to copy any satellite with corresponding transponders and services to another satellite position
• uses open source EnigmaSettings library to handle all the heavy work of settings loading, management and saving.

What are its advantages over the commonly-used DreamboxEdit tool?

1.) It's faster

2.) It works on Windows, Linux and Mac

3.) It's open source (and based on open source library created so anyone can create settings editor of their own)

4.) It can move and copy satellites from one orbital position to another (with updating all relevant data)

5.) Does not work like "regular" editors, only thing you have to do is select satellites you want to keep

 

This is great for people which are using settings already made by someone else (IE. HenkSat settings)

but want just a part of it (only some satellites). And for the people distributing settings to others (HenkSat, Likra...)

They take one big motor list and program will create many small ones with different satellites.

 

This is no classical "channel/bouquet" editor. If you watch one minute video on the top it will be all clear.

Yep, its not classical editor as you cannot edit bouquets. I tested your program and it works great, i like that it is fast.
