Hello guys!

I have one question about current EPG in enigma 2 images....

Is it possible to prevent specific channels to load its EPG? And for them to use for example xmltv import?

currently if i want to change the EPG for some channels with imported one the entries overlaps which is not useful.

So is it possible to disable EPG for specific channels or providers?

No.

EPG is processed by readers, which run in the background. So if you have an EIT reader active, and there is EIT data available on the transponder, it will be imported. Regardless of provider or channel.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

OK then. however there is one more thing to be considered...

I know that there is posibility to set at what language should be the EPG data in the settings...

However in my provider there is a EPG in my language however it is not displayed despite i've set it in the settings.

On the operator's receiver it is showed up.

I know that some operators use different way of adding the EPG data... however is that not supported by enigma2 OpenPli?

Or somewhere could be set it up?

You can exclude a complete reader though, like EIT or Freesat.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

hmm, don´t forget if you disable eit, etc there is already epg loaded in the box for aprox. 5 to 7 days.

you need to erase "epg.dat " on the box. ;)

You have to:

- stop Enigma

- delete the epg.dat file

- start Enigma

EPG data is in memory, the epg.dat file is only used to preserve loaded epg data between restarts (of Enigma or the entire box).
