This is neat but it requires you to edit them all over again next time you update the settings. I wish there was an easy way to do that.

There is: use DreamSetEdit and create a 'wishlist'.

You really need to read the manual for that.

I don't seem to find anything related to a wishlist in dreamset. Can you give me any help?

Well it's there on the git and also satellites-xml.org (which is an OpenViX team member project). As for settings I'm currently working on a solution for this. You upload the settings.zip file. Lamedb is corrected and satellites.xml is replaced with a compatible version. And then the zip file is returned with the changes in it.

Hi Huevos,

I believe I am using your satellites.xml file from a few weeks ago and I have just downloaded a Vhannibal's channel list in order to copy some of the channels to my own channel list (such as Sky Deutschland, Viasat, C+ Nordic). Unfortunately, a lot of these "new" channels (eg. TNT Glitz HD of Sky Deutschland) appear as N/A on my box. How do you interpret it?

The transponder is missing from satellites.xml?

Vhannibal's channel list is outdated?

Something else?

I was asking Robinson. Could also be in tuxbox. That's why I was asking.

@Robinson are the channels you are having trouble with on 3E or 55E?

I'm not at home now but as far as I can remember I use your satellites.xml located in etc/enigma2 but it is from several weeks ago.

I also have a default file in tuxbox.

Maybe I need to change something in DreamboxEdit settings? Such as satellites.xml location?

I don't use 3E or 55E. The channels with N/A are at 19.2E (eg. TNT Glitz HD) as well as quite a lot of channels at 4.8E and 0.8W.

Well apart from 3E and 55E those settings are fully compatible with my satellites.xml. And if you run the zip file through my settings converter it become completely compatible.

And by the way here is a DreamboxEdit log after downloading such N/A channel list from my box back to DreamboxEdit.

Does it explain anything?

Do you think you could send me or upload here your satellites.xml file?

Robinson, try this. Delete any satellites.xml files you have on your receiver (engima2 and tuxbox). And then send these settings to your receiver. Then do a restart so you are using the satellites.xml contained in these settings.

Thanks Huevos but something is definitely wrong for me.

There are actually two types of <n/a> channels I get on my box using the list you attached:

- greyed out

- not greyed out

Let's take a few examples from the list you attached:

6869 - <n/a> greyed out, not possible to receive, supposed to be TNT Glitz HD

7007 - <n/a> not greyed out, after zapping on it the <n/a> changes to Animax

7044 - <n/a> greyed out, not possible to receive, supposed to be Super RTL

7050 - <n/a> not greyed out, after zapping on it the <n/a> changes to ProSieben MAXX HD

Could it have something with my lamedb file?

Or is the list simply incorrect?
