Hello,
I tested another image.
Then I reinstalled the Image PLI.
Since then, when I reboot the VU + I to home screen "Vu + Smart Player" appears for a few seconds before the screen image PLI is displayed with the current winter wonderland.
How to remove the screen Vu + ?

A box has two bootlogo's: the vendor splash screen, and the image splash screen.
We are of the opinion that what the vendor wants to do is up to them, so an OpenPLi image doesn't remove or replace the vendor splash screen, like some other images.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I was just surprised because the Vu + Duo, I had only the screen image PLI.
Now I have, recently, a Vu + Solo2 with screen Vu + first and then the screen PLI.

I can't remember if the Duo also had a vendor splash screen. Indeed the Duo2 has it, also all Xtrends.

Hello,
I have tested another image (Black Hole) and they replace the vendor's splash screen.
I am now back with an OpenPli image, but the Black Hole (vendor's) spalsh screen is still showing.
I have a VU+ Duo2: how do you replace the vendor's splash screen with a VU+ or OpenPli screen??

As nearly any other image comes with its own 1st splash screen, it would be quite helpful if OpenPli just included the vendor default splash screen to avoid this mix occuring when switching from one image to OpenPli without flashing the vendor's image in between.
1st box: Vu+ Ultimo 4k 4xDVB-S2 FBC / 2xDVB-C / 1.8 TB HDD / OpenATV 6.2
2nd box: Gigablue Quad 4k 2xDVB-S2 FBC / 2xDVB-C / 1.8 TB HDD / OpenATV 6.2

You can also use ViX for that: they also embed the vendors splashscreen.

I have flashed the file from VU_SplashScreen.zip. The BH flash screen has been removed an replaced by a blank screen (and not the VU+ "Your Smart Linux TV Player" logo).
This is fine with me, because the BH logo has been removed.
