Hello,

 

For some reason Oscam ymod wont start automatically after reboot and I don't know why. As far as I can see everything looks good in this .ipk package but I need to start it manually otherwise it wont run. This is a bit annoying because rebooting the box requires manual emu start.

 

 

enigma2-plugin-cams-oscam-ymodv18-51_openpli_all.ipk

 

 

 

Does anyone know what might be the reason for this?

First it does only inert the start-up plugin and configs .You still need the pli softcam manager and use that to select the cam to start

 

And then I gues that oscam binary is also installed into /usr/bin map called oscam (not an other name) And that it is one for you're box ?

I gues You're also missing the softcam support on You're box.

 

Just telnet the box and do

 

opkg install softcam-support

I also double checked this plugin. And indeed it will only allow a manual start there is ann error.

 

The start script in /etc/init.d is named :  softcam.oscam_ymod  That work's for manal start but such a start link is not supported by rc-d

 

First select with you're remote command trough softcam setup  none (stop all cams and links are set to none.) or geen (it depends off language you use) push green ok button !!

 

Then

telnet you box and : do

root@dm8000bu:~# mv /etc/init.d/softcam.oscam_ymod /etc/init.d/softcam.oscam-ymod

 

Now You can restart the cam with remote command trough softcam manager You will find in the cam list oscam-ymod . When this is started and works ok it will also do after boottime
