No problemo ! Can you looke at the epg ? The lines are to close and i cant correct it.

Pls tak a screenshot and show me what epg screen you are talking about and what lines are close??

Thanks for the transparency advice mate but if anyone knows how to make the png files into transparent that would be good because you cant see the osd transparency all the time for instance open webif... also iam tryingto update to v2.3 but not letting me? something about downgrading :S

Try remove the old version skin and just install the new version and the problem should be sorted....

Hi mate. What errors are you getting? You have to install ipk through telnet command. :)

the ipk is trying to overwrite files that already exist, this is why its not installing. i have just tried it on a fresh PLi flash

 

Installing enigma2-skin-sky.new (Chababu.V2.3) to root...
Collected errors:
 * check_data_file_clashes: Package enigma2-skin-sky.new wants to install file /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Converter/EventName.pyo
        But that file is already provided by package  * enigma2
 * check_data_file_clashes: Package enigma2-skin-sky.new wants to install file /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer/CoolNextEvent.pyo
        But that file is already provided by package  * enigma2
 * check_data_file_clashes: Package enigma2-skin-sky.new wants to install file /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/Renderer/CoolPico.pyo
        But that file is already provided by package  * enigma2
 * opkg_install_cmd: Cannot install package enigma2-skin-sky.new.

You have to overwrite the converters n renderes to get the epgs and info guides to work properly. :)

How do i get the picons for the channels, at the moment it just shows sky skin for each channel?

Could you please post a screenshot so that i know which epg screen you are talking about. It should be a skin issue.

As of the picons, you need to identify your picon folder. It should eitha be on usb, hdd or flash and folder name as picon

It is taking the sky.new picon as its the default one.

OK i will take the screenshot when i get home, can i do it on the box or is it a case of taking a photo on my phone?

 

Really sorry but I'm new to this, if you have 5 minutes can you PM me with instructions on how to install the picons and the best method be it USB or flash etc.

You can take screenshots via the web interface, just use the "full remote" link. You can choose between image, GUI, or both.
