Littlesat, you're not a pretty boy, it's so difficult for me to write in English . Ok, I'm trying to explain .

 

I've looked on the forum to find informations about the creator of MQB, I've looked in the informations in the pluggin but I haven't found anything. I've also looked for Et-MQB and if there is a website indicated, it doesn't exist .

 

Pr2 wrote it was perhaps possible that OpenPli learns a function. Thus if we press a long time on the red key, it can ask us what we want to launch with this key. But it doesn't do anything .

 

About Et-MQB :

For example, in standard, if I press on :

- the left key, it jumps to the previous channel,

- the right key, it jumps to the next channel,

- the up key, it launches the EPG and the cursor is on the previous channel,

- the down key, it launches the EPG and the cursor is on the next channel (I'm not sure, I don't do it).

 

With Et-MQB, if I press on :

- the left key, it launches the EPG and the cursor is on the previous channel,

- the right key, it launches the EPG and the cursor is on the next channel,

- the up key, it jumps to the next channel (or the previous, I don't remember),

- the down key, it jumps to the previous channel (or the next, I don't remember).

 

Thus you have to redefine several Et-MQB keys to keep the standard functions .

 

Other points : in MoviePlayer, we can use the P+P- key to go to the beginning or to the end of the movies list but when Et-MQB is installed, the P+P- key doesn't do anything in MoviePlayer, we have lost the standard function and I don't think if it's possible to recover the standard function. In MoviePlayer, we can affect functions to keys (TV, Radio, Vkey...) and I've lost them (or some of them, I've not done all the tests) when I've installed Et-MQB.

So you're using MQB... that plugin does steal button presses and route them around enigma2... So with "basic" enigma2 button handling I cannot work-a-round it. Then MQB needs to be fixed not OpenPLi;s enigma2.

Yes I know Enigma has no problem and it's a MQB problem but I don't know how to contact its creator. There is no problem with Et-MQB but it changes too many buttons and Enigma can't learn a new function for the red key in spite thought Pr2.

 

Perhaps i'm going to post about Et-MQG, perhaps somebody knows well this product.

But still it is not clear to me what you exactly want/require?

I would want to launch MoviePlayer with the red key because the stock Xtrend remote is not convenient at all and I've some difficulties to affect a convenient key on the Logitech remote. I don't think the red key is used when you see a channel, thus I use it to launch MoviePlayer with MQB .

Red key is for hbbtv... But for your situation likely you could better modify thr keymap.xml....

Ok, I look for this file and I modify it with Notepad++ on the PC and it's good? For a .sh file, I have to use Dos2unix to convert the file created on a Windows PC.

When edit files on by box in windows I use komodo edit free...

'Notepad++' is fine, as is 'Programmer's Notepad' as is 'PsPad'.

Sorry, I have found a lot of keymap.xml in my box. I took one in \\ET9X00\Root\share\enigma2 but I didn't find the red key with hbbtv and I didn't find a context which seems the good one , only TeletextActions, EPGSelectActions, AudioSelectionActions, ColorActions and ShortcutActions.

file must be only one -  /usr/share/enigma2/keymap.xml

and it is KEY_RED there in InfobarRedButtonActions section

But I've found a lot of keymap.xml. I haven't Enigma but Enigma2 and when I have saved keymap.old in \\ET9X00\Root\share\enigma2, I have also keymap.old in \\ET9X00\Root\usr\share\enigma2. I don't understand very well what that means.

 

Ok I've found the InfobarRedButtonActions section and there is :

key id="KEY_RED" mapto="activateRedButton" flags="b" /

 

Do I replace "activateRedButton" by something as "activateMoviePlayer"?

.../enigma2 ... of course   keymap.old are backups only, when you tried some changing (or some plugin ? )

 

I do not know and do not using any MQB etc... and I do not know, if this plugin(s) redirects code in InfoBarGeneric.py in class InfoBarRedButton...

If not, then replace "activateRedButton" is for nothing.
