how to record IPTV channels?

Hello!

 

How to record IPTV channels using the timer function? Press the REC button everything is alright but using timer funcion HDD does not work.
 
Example:
#SERVICE 1:0:1:1F7:B:1:3542F58:0:0:0:http%3a//127.0.0.1%3a88/httpstream%3a//http%3a//novokuz%3a1234/udp/233.7.70.163%3a5000:Outdoor HD
#DESCRIPTION Outdoor HD
 
P.s. I using openpli 4.0 (VU+ uno).

It is at this moment not possible to record a IPTV stream.


Plinux member We have a.. (ehmm.. morgage) house.

It depends. ts streams can be recorded. All others (wmv, mms,...) cannot be recorded. According to your service ref (1:0:1...) it's a ts stream. And there it should work. If not, it's a bug.

As OP wrote, his problem is in timer recording - scheduled recording. Recording works when pressing REC buttion while already tuned in the stream.

It depends. ts streams can be recorded. All others (wmv, mms,...) cannot be recorded. According to your service ref (1:0:1...) it's a ts stream. And there it should work. If not, it's a bug.

It's subtile. Some receivers can do it (the Xtrends for example) but VU+ can't, it's missing functionality in the drivers. For DMM I don't know, probably not.
