I just tested it on the vuduo2. I removed all existing relevant packages (plugin, browser itself, aithelper), then ran an update and then installed the plugin which should drag in the dependencies itself. Result:
root@duo:~# opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-hbbtv Installing enigma2-plugin-extensions-hbbtv (git8495+bbc3238-r0) on root. Configuring libts-1.0-0. Configuring vuplus-opera-browser. Configuring enigma2-plugin-extensions-hbbtv.
Rebooted (just to be sure) and then it works.
It can't be that you have some package from another installation/image/etc. installed?
Tomorrow I'll test on the solo2, but I can't imagine anything else happening, from the bitbake environment there is no difference for these packages.

That's what I posted 3 days ago in http://openpli.org/f...ndpost&p=436141 and confirmed yesterday to be still the issue. Let's await today's build and see if it's fixed.

As long as the issue persists, you can install the attached ipk before installing HbbTV from the feeds. tslib-conf_1.0+gitr0+e17263ef40-r0.0_mips32el.ipk 1.29KB 48 downloads

So okay, I will tell you. Lately I have spent almost three days of my holidays to try to fit the commit with the new kernel into our repo. This appeared to be a "non-trivial operation". After having done so, it appears our (up to date) compiler cannot compile the new kernel (for two reasons) and also I get reports that the new-kernel-new-driver combo crashes all over the place. So in the end, it's a lot of work for something that doesn't even work. I am not going down this path anymore. The current hbbtv version more or less works, that's enough for me. If VU+ wants newer hbbtv support (or kernel/driver/whatever) in OpenPLi for their customers, I suggest they come up with something that works and integrates a lot better into "foreign" repo's. Until now they have shown that they can nick our code, but nothing ever comes back, so my motivation to spend effort in this direction has grown quite near to zero.Did you?

I have identified and confirmed the dependency problem. The tslib package used to be in the OpenPLi feed before, it was a left over from the time we built the opera package ourselves on our build server. Apparantly some orphan cleanup round by bitbake or whatever has removed the package from the feed, because nothing (internal) depends on it,
So I have added tslib-conf to the 3rd party feed. Problem should be solved now (well, tomorrow, after the build).
For the record, opera for VU+ has always had a dependency on tslib.
