Hi all,

I hope somebody may be able to help me out,  I have a VU+ Duo with the latest version of Open Pli installed and I cannot seem to get crossepg to work,  everytime I try to download the epg it shows Starting Download, Starting Converter and Loading data all within 3 seconds but yet does not actually download the EPG?

I have created a bouquet with autoboquet e2 and when I look at my EPG it is blank until I select a channel then only that channel shows whats playing?

I have reflashed three times already and still cant seem to get it to work, any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Which box? Possibly no free tuner to read the epg or so? I suggest 3 sec for crossepg to read all epg is fast...

Deffo sounds like you need to install curl

But wasnt the curl dependency added to the pli server ? just for people who didnt know how to install it manually.

Anyway, telnet into your box and type opkg install curl and hit enter.

Ian.

I had the same problem with last openpli, crossepg fails to download openepg

I've installed openpli for the first time, I was using openBH, but got tired of it.

After installing curl, crossepg is working OK. Shouldn't crossepg automatically install curl? I mean it would be better for non advanced users and since it depends on it.

Thanks anyway.

From what I understand its a plugin issue as OPENPLi build the Image to be lean as possible. Yes I agree it's a pain it dosnt work out of the box but we have to respect the teams decision. This is only my option on the matter if I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me on this.
