Thanks for this new and very interesting image.
I have a internal non-spinning 4GB "hdd" for multiboot, epg and swap storage. For movies and mp3 I use a landisk where is placed "movie" folder. Is there a way to send timeshift recordings to my flash hdd? Thanks.

When TV or Radio buttons are pressed on remote control, service lists are not displayed as it used to happen on previous images (iolite, helenite).

Thanks jonc.

On dm7020 and with all images i know (dsm, gemini, pli-helenite, pli-iolite, scvs, etc.) when you press TV button channel service list is displayed. This is not happening with pli-jade. I know this can be achivied by pressing up or down button or OK button twice on dm500s.
As this behaviour only occurs with pli-jade, I think it could be a minor bug.
I use to press TV, INFO and OK to see current channel EPG. With Jade: UP, DOWN (DOWN to repositioning to current channel), INFO and OK in order to get the same. Since I'm in multiboot environment I have to remember this when in jade or not jade.

1. the box hangs after upload a modified cccam.cfg
2. box hangs after 2-3 days, or turn off
3. If i hear music with jukebox on the receiver, and turn the volume up and down ( 2-3 times) then
your get both volumes, from the musik and the TV programm running in the background

I've to change back to Iolite, cause the biggest problem is the hanging/freeze of the box

Sorry I am confused and here is why?

1. The softcam has nothing to do with the PLi Jade software, so is there another problem you have?
2. This can be due to many things, and I have one running here now which not been turned off for the last 9 days and still working perfect.
3. Sorry I do not understand this at all, please could you tell me more about this issue?

Have you read the wiki -> HomePage <- to see all the new features?

to first problem. the cccams dont hang with Iolite, only with Jade.

third problem. I often hear music with the jukebox0.64 . musik is on hdd.
if jukebox is running, i see still the TV programm runns in background. this is right.
but if i turn the volume up and down (2-3 times) up and down then i hear
both sound, the sound from the music played withe the jukebox and the TV movie sound

Since you last comments I have been running a round robin CCcam here to try / emulate your crash.

It runs off three DM500 (on Jade) two DM7020 (on Jade) and two DM600 (on Jade) with Irdeto Zeta cards (2 of them in the DM500), and NDS (DM600) and Irdeto 2 v5.3 (DM7020) card and it works just perfect better than Iolite (not really just easier to set up with the new menu structure) so I am am confused as even in a round robin here on the local LAN CCcam 2.0.9 works perfect with Jade. I can not emulate a crash as you say.

So lets work on this first. Why is your box crashing?

1] Did you flash it with dreamUP or flashwizard?
2] What version of CCcam were you using before this Jade upgrade?
3] Did you copy over your config files to the new Jade?

As I said above the PLi Jade software has no effect on CAS / CAM / Softcam.

box has an Boxman CVS image in flash, flashed with dreamUP,
Jade is flashed with BarryAllen Tool into CF card.
CCCam is still 2.0.9, on Jade and on Iolite.
Yes right, it crashes often if i owerwrite a cccam.cfg on
running cccam.

to 3. no i dont copied nothing from 'Iolite to Jade, only my cccam.cfg

I'll try it again afternoon.

And with JUST the Pli Jade as the boot image it is perfect right? Yes, it most certainly is... It is the way you are booting your box at an educated guess. Why do you need all the other applications in the way?

Hello,
Thank you for the excellent release,
Can you tell me how to update it through commands over telnet?
I have done it before but i cant remember the exact commands
i think it was ipkg update, ipkg upgrade something.
I have put jade already but i want the commands for future releases.
Also can we have the x-line theme with highlight bars to the menu like gemini ones because i have to count presses like it is now also make the up and down keys to change menu not the left right is more user friendly.
Thanks in advance

ipkg update && ipkg upgrade indeed.
But note that you can only upgrade within the same image type. You cannot update from iolite to jade, only new updates within jade (which we don't have so far)

Hi,
What about x-line theme, is there anything you can do to have a more feature rich expierience :)
Thank you
I recon to upgrade to iolite through ipkg from older version, are you sure it doesnt work?
Also is there a way i can lower the info bar on x-line because is not on the lower end of the screen but 7cm from the bottom and is annoying. By info bar i mean when you press the info to see what channel are you in and time e.t.c i hope you understand what i want to say :) Am greek so i cannot express my self in english flawessly :)
