Is there some experience with working browser? Could not find it in PLI download.

just forget it, enigma or a plugin isnt a proper way to browse the internet

Hi, Thanks for fast reply! I know that one in old boxes has been so difficult to use but it could be great to have it still in DM800. The best could be to even know the way how to change the default "dream multimedia" page into own page e.g. news.
Is there really no way to enable it (install the old plugin --- currently I am not able to find it in order to test) in DM800?

as far as i know there is no webbrowser plugin for Enigma2 which runs the DM800

the 'links' browser which works for e1 hasn't yet been ported to e2.
And on the powerpc boxes, people have been using konqueror & qt/embedded.
Haven't heard of anyone trying to build them for mipsel yet.

Anyway, both links and konqueror merely serve as proof of concept, I don't think anybody is seriously using them ;)
