hi guy's

here my patch files to add solo support into PLi 2.0.

there is currently one major issue, the solo does not support hardware blending or filling, i have supplied a patch that removes hardware blending like the one for the duo was done, but there is no option yet to remove hardware filling.

anyway here are the 2 patch files.

do not spread rumors with this statements!
we did not say this, we said

The hardware of the VU+ Solo is worse than the DM800, the box is overpriced, and the drivers aren't all that.

We're trying to get communication with VU+ going, because the drivers of the VU+Duo aren't that good as well, but there's not a lot of support from VU+. We don't want to "contaminate" our E2 environment with all kinds of dirty hacks just because the VU drivers aren't up to spec. We have to support a lot of hardware platforms with OpenPLi, we want the software a clean as possible, so we don't introduce instability.

If VU+ will improve their drivers, we might reconsider our current point of view.

not if that new box results in limitations on our enigma2 and general image developments.
We do not like to be limited, if that's the case, we prefer to simply support a smaller range of hardware, so we can spend more of our precious time on things that actually matter, rather than wasting time making sure everything works on every single device.

so, if VU+ delivers better drivers and software, we dont have to spend alot of our precious private time at VU+Solo box specific problems!
