If somebody want it, there are 2little meteo plugins displaying sats frames for CZ (+slideshow). Both are in SD.
Meteoviewer knows displaying CE map too (CZ+Ger+NL+PL+AU+SK ...)

Meteoviewer is slower than stormviewer, because frames of source are in jpg and for SD must be resized.
If will be useful, can be rebuilded for HD (without resize) +SD

Notice: This plugin has an active development. Please check the latest posts in this thread for the latest version of this plugin.

There are in both plugins all source files (.py).

for streamviewer - png frames are displayed in max. size, they have small resolution.

for meteoviewer - jpg meteo files are 800x600, but it is not optimal for SD => they are displayed as 640x480. All background png files are manualy resized to 640x480 , because in driver is bug (or is not support) for resizing png with alphachannel).

I think, better woud be make meteoviewer HD as standallone ( of course, can be in same plugin => 2x all png background files).

(I think, resize over 800x600 will not be nice ... )

btw, autor is ims :)

Indeed: you are right! I looked in the installed plugin, and they were not there, but unpacking the ipk's show them.

Thanks again!

@VU+NL: try unpack it and place into Plugins/Extensions. Made in full size of frames ( 720x576 ) as non SD => some i made "on blind"

1. You are right, infrared pictures are the best for (global) weatherinfo.
2. Where to place your improved updates (the map/MeteoWEsd) ???

Works like a charm!
Any chance of implementing the same "Synaptic" as in Czech MeteoViewer?
