Hi,

This is not only with the glass theme, crash also with the other themes
Default skin or Magic or pli-hd crash

I submitted a backup of February 22 and there is no problem.
I do an update of the image online and here there is a problem

Once the glass-HD installed and you have this issue.... the glass-HD skin looks nice... but it made it so nice by patching around in standard python code. That is why it breaks it now.......

You need to remove.... uninstall the complete glass-HD skin.... via menu->applications/plugins->red

Then if you do not have experience with telnet/putty reflash your box.... When you have experience with telnet/putty:

1. init 4
2. opkg update
3. opkg remove enigma2-src (ignore error message, see step 6)
4. opkg intstall enigma2-src
5. init 3
6. opkg remove enigma2-src (only when you get error message in step 3)

Due to the glass skin overwrites some system files it blocks us making changes/improvements to these files.

Starting from skin version 4.39 in "Setup HDGlass16" menu, there's a setting, called "enable Patched VirtualKeyboard". It seems, this is actually the system files modification. By setting this to false and saving settings Enigma restarts and original system files are restored. All working now. See topic: http://openpli.org/f...in-hd-glass-16/

Hi guys, i am having trouble with this procedure, can somebody please help ?

1) How do i uninstall hd glass ? (It is not in the plugins menu)
2) I unchecked (enable patched virtualkeyboard)
3) keep getting error (no packages removed) and (cant install enigma2-src)

So filelist keeps on crashing

Any help will be deeply appreciated.

reflashing would be the more easy solution i am afraid..

OK all fixed,
Removed blindscan plugin and then was able to install enigma2-src again.
