Of course the password that I type is the correct one. :)

DM 7020 HD
OpenWebif - screenshot does not work
WebInterface - screenshot does not work
On my iPhone app e2Remote - screenshot does not work

it's known /?/ issue (at least on OpenWebif),

exceptions.RuntimeError: Request.write called on a request after Request.finish was called.

probably due to upgrade python-twisted in OpenPLi 3.0,
some python files (grab.py) needs adjustment...
//but of course, I know nothing bout the python, so probably devs could confirm/fix it?

it is safe, and you can test it, but it is still in alpha stage, so not all plugins etc are working.

Hi,

since the last online update yesterday, the VU+ duo doesn't boot anymore. The display shows "Starting..." and that's it.

Is this only a bug or do I have to install a new boot loader (like on new years day)?

Made a fresh usb installation. Now everything works fine again.

So that I'm obviously the only one who had this problem, I can only suspect one thing: the VU+ was in the radio mode when I did the update. Could this maybe be the reason?

Probably you need to update bootloader first and then a new installation.

Hi,

Same problem on my ET9000 last time I update it, but I simply power it off / on and then it boot normally.
You should have try a cold start before reflashing a full image.

I am sure if you look in this forum you will see that clones are not supported but I would guess that this image should run on a clone with the update security. so try and see the worst that can happen is you need to reflash with another image if this doesn't work.
Until The Wheels are off the ground there is still hope

I saw that busybox-cron is per default available, however it doesn't start if I reboot the box?!

Thanks

starting with tomorrows build, busybox-cron will be a separate package again
(which starts automatically when you install it)

Hi,

Small bug that also exist in Openpli 2.1 but why not improve it in Openpli 3.0. :-)

Take the RCU and zap to channel 1, then with the RCU zap to channel 5
Connect to the Webif and zap to channel 8.
Take the RCU and press 0 to return to the previous channel.

It will return to channel 1 while expected behaviour should be that it returns to channel 5.

Same problem with the VFD, when you zap from the OpenWebif the VFD channel name is not changed. So I my previous example while watching channel 8 VFD will display channel 5 name.

Sounds like OpenWebif zapping is not reflected in the same way as RCU zap in the system.

Pr2
P.S.: Thanks to having fixed the softcam automatic starts, but SSH and impossible to change password bugs are still there.
