Have the same problem on my 7020 HD, latest 2.1 version.
No Wlan detected, my smartphone detects the network.
Im trying with Dreambox original dongle, the small white one.

Is there a chance that OpenPli 3.0 will support this ?

Problem solved, installed drivers on the 7020HD....
There wasnt a wizard for this...after installing ipk-package via telnet, then it started to work :)

which package? (we try to keep the most common wifi drivers in the image, because you won't be able to download them when you don't have an ethernet connection as well)

I have the same problem. I tried 3 different WiFi-Sticks who are usually recognized by Linux/Ubuntu computers. Which driver did you install?
Thanks in advance.

Yes it is, but its not "installed" by default, if you try with included Dream Multimedia Original Wifi stick

How to:

Connect with Telnet, run these commands to install it manually:

opkg update (hit enter)

opkg remove rtl8192cu(hit enter)

install kernel-module-rtl8192cu (hit enter)

Restart your dreambox.....
Now it will find Wifi hotspots

Regards
