Hi,

I have found in the new VU+ SOLO2 and DUO2 Hbbtv via Opera is now available.

On X-Trend STB, I am not happy with the HbbTV plugin as it won't work at all on any french DVB-T TV chanels...So, this is just one theorical feature...

I wonder if Opera HbbTV is possible in the future under OpenPLI???

wow, you must be the first to have a vu duo2 or/and a vu solo2 :)

on the xtrend it also works you just need to add one line in /etc/enigma2/hbbtv_redirects.cfg

http://frontnettv.tf1.fr/hbbtv/index http://frontnettv.tf1.fr

then restart e2 and hbbtv on arteHD and TF1HD works

regards ;)

// edit, ok i tested on 5w only, can you give me the url it uses on the DDT channels? ( you can see it in the e2 output when you press red button, or else with dvbsnoop )

Hello,

I did not say I owned VU+ SOLO2 or DUO2..
Their specs mentioned that HbbTV feature is achieved via Opera.
http://www2.vuplus.c...oducts/dou2manu
http://media.opera.c...Opera_HbbTV.pdf

In France, so far I know, HbbTV feature is included in terrestric chanels only.
HbbTV is detected but that won't work on my ET6000 with the HbbTV plugin..
There is thus no hope to perform some tests from Sat...

radxnl just gave you the possible solution... you should redirect the hbbtv website (as work-a-round).

no, as i said, i tested France Hbbtv on 5w, and it works

so please, give me the url ( using e2 output of dvbsnoop from the commandline )

and there is for sure hope, but only if you would like to cooperate a little and give me the url ;)

I did just add something in openpli so that you get the HbbTV URL on the services info screen (menu->information->serviceinformation).... I hope that helps...

Doesn't look like an URL to me.
I updated the OpenPLi 3.0 today.

Thanks.

Tried on Hotbird (telesat TF1HD) doesn't work.
Works on NED1 and others and also Germans on my ET9x00.

With the standard PLi-HD skin on the service info screen you see the HbbTV URL.... please post here what you do see there...

If VU did a good job it should be just an installation of an ipk.... Just like it is for the ET boxes.... ;)

and... is it?
Since last Sunday the vti image is supporting hbbtv for the vu boxes as well.
As I was eagerly waiting for this for a longntime, I am tempted, but I really rather stay with OpenPLI.
I would really apreciate an estimate if and when it will happen on OpenPLI.
Thanks

Did someone try? Or have an IPK?

VTi is as far I know based on orriginal VU code... so for them it is simply just a merge....

Indeed: VTi is just an OI with some stuff and a skin added. Very easy for them to adapt anything VU releases.
