OpenPLi 3.0 fails to play some mkv files with DTS soundtrack. Mediainfo for some not working files

None of the files (that I tried), wich have DTS with variable bit rate, do not work with OpenPLi 3. These files work without problem in OpenPLi 2.1. I have Vu+ Uno, but tried also with friends DM800SE and ET9000.

Great info, I just tried the "same" on my DM 8000 (init 4 ; enigma2) which I just upgraded to see if there was any change.

By the way I see openpli still use the "old" gstreamer 0.10.36 while the current release is 1.0.1 : any idea on when it might be updated ?

Not yet..... but do you now an image that uses 1.0.1 ???

I don't know any image which use the new gstreamer, and as the API and ABI have changed it could take some time.
Sofar working player for my DTS file is the only thing I miss since the upgrade.

When DTS downmix does not work, then please restart enigma2... this will also cleans some cache and than DTS downmix is working fine....

Files with DTS-HD or DTS-ES don't even start. Video is playing fine, if soundtrack is removed using mkvmerge.
