I have the same problem, after re-installing PLi 3.0 the problem is solved, but after a week or so, the problem is there again.

I did now 3 x an re-install, get a little fed up with this.

Nobody seems to know the answer.

The download mirrors seem to be ok, you can download them with the browser without problems.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

You copied that link from the forum, and the message parser here includes the dot at the end as part of the link. Same with the comma in the link in the error message.

The box requests the file without that dot at the end, and that downloads fine.

How many updates, how large?

I had problems if I didn't use SWAP file for very large updates (70+ files)...

You can kill it afterwards but for the update process itself it is useful, it seems... Try and tell... If the link is OK, of course...

What do you mean by 'I didn't use SWAP'?

And what can I kill afterwards ?

It means what it says: if I do not use SWAP file during such large updates there was a problem...

After the update is over, you can remove/kill the SWAP file.

None of you answered my question...

I don't know how to do it via Telnet....

So, I use a Device Manager (in a specific image). here are also SWAP Managers apps... Remote control is enough, then...

But I am not sure which ones work with OpenPLi, sorry...

do you have ports open (telnet, etc) to inet and default root password?

if so your box may be infected with Aidra? I had same symptoms and open ports in the past,,,,

can you enter via telnet

which wget

if that doesn't return anything, you may have been hit.

it should return

# /usr/bin/wget

goto .usr/bin and see if you have file renamed to -wget?

check via ps if there are suspicious processes running..
