I think I found the solution... Aspect ratio should not be set to 16:9 but "Just Scan".... Seems to do the trick...  Thx... :)

From what I can find it's under "HOME ➾ Settings ➙ PICTURE ➙ Aspect Ratio", and i think it should be set to "Just Scan". See http://www.lg.com/us...004803-en-LGEAI for an explaination of the different settings.


Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

under video section:

 

  • Aspect Ratio Correction : 8 Modes (16:9/Just Scan/Original/Full Wide/4:3/14:9/Zoom/Cinema Zoom1)

In Q.Menu, video aspect try: just scan  ;)

Will be the latest ipk ( enigma2-plugin-skins-pd1loi-hd-full-hd_2.3a_all.ipk) already
into the latest update or OpenPli nightly build ?

De picons zijn 100X60 dus dat is volgens mij normaal.

Maar, is het ook mogelijk dat je de regel weather_city = '73xxxx' in YWeather.py "vastzet" ?

Per keer dat jij je skin update c.q. een nieuwe versie maakt en deze via de nightly builds jouw skin wordt
ververst is de door mij ingestelde city verdwenen en komt Amsterdam weer te voorschijn.

Ja en nee, dit zou kunnen maar dit kan ieder voor zich aanpassen. Anders zou ik honderden verschillende skins moeten uploaden voor elke plaats een skin en dat is onmogelijk. Daarom staat deze standaard op Amsterdam.

Het best kun je via opkg deze skin uitpakken en als er dan een update is alleen skin.xml vervangen dan heb je geen last ervan en je skin is dan wel up to date.

Een opmerking waar ik even niet uitkom, namelijk dit>Attached File  1_0_19_1B6C_C88_3_EB0000_0_0_0.jpg   60.82KB   106 downloads hier is een ander menu dan wat ik normaal in mijn skin zie. voor een paar maand terug was dit nog niet, wat is er veranderd en wat moet ik aan mijn skin aanpassen om het weer normaal te krijgen,
