anyone can tell
whether there is an instruction
how to create a file epg.dat
perhaps there exists any software grabing epg.dat

To create the file epg.dat is simple, just reboot your receiver via the menu and the file is created onto your HDD

(but I'm not sure if you totally mean this)

no,
I think as one can get from the internet

Here's an example of Russian channels of

http://linux-sat.tv/epg/epg_ru.dat.gz

man creates a epg.dat,
but do not reveal the secret
this can be done

his list of channels is http://linux-sat.tv/...channels.xml.gz

but the question?
who shall make
or scripts or software

my interest is in a
that it can make for IPTV EPG

just saying
I do not want to be a mediator
but himself to glean from the internet EPG

I myself would like to attract the EPG from the internet
  for its IPTV reference

But maybe you need to ask how to show epg from IPTV, rather how to put it himself in epg.dat?
I have read that many IPTV providers broadcast EPG, but it are not showing in the channel list.

there's the thing
I tested all day today
epgimport, crossepg, TV Guide

and does not generate any EPG for IPTV
but one person does
the sofware creates a finished epg.dat
and not reveal the secret

question
What kind of sofware can make epg.dat

I guess it is possible that someone wrote standalone software to create an epg.dat for this purpose, but I'd find it more likely that he/she figured out how to import the epg data into their DB & reboots to 'create" the epg.dat... I wasn't just trying to be obnoxious with my original "enigma/2" answer... ;)

This helps? http://openpli.org/f...feed-timefortv/

Also if you setup a stream with a service reference from a valid channel you will get epg.

Eg...

#SERVICE 1:0:1:133:3E1C:13F:820000:0:0:0:http%3a//a.stream.tv:Stream
#DESCRIPTION Stream

Service Reference is from Arte HD on 13E.

PS. Stream (from magais image) starts with 1: and not with 4097: that means stream is MPEG TS capable?

Service type 1 means decode by hardware (demuxer). Service type 4097 means decode by gstreamer.

Is it possible for this to work even if i am not connected to the satellite that is sending the epg? But the person who's sending the stream to me is connected to this satellite. For example i am receiving epg from 13 and 19.2 degrees, but my receiver is not connected to the satellite in 28.2 degrees and the person that is sending the stream to me is connected to the satellite in 28.2 degrees. So can i also receive epg from 28.2 degrees using the above example?
