Hi All,

The problem of using XBMCAddons with VU+Duo has been reported many times. So - I have started this thread so that we can try to solve the problems - if possible.

This plugin was developed with xtrend and dreambox - because I have these boxes. But it should also work with other boxes with enigma2 images.

If you have problem :-

(1) Install all software items from "Install Software".

(2) Use a simple addon like Dr Dish for first trial. Also use an openpli image.

(3) Telnet these commands :-

init 4
killall -9 enigma2
enigma2>/tmp/e.log 2>&1 &

Start the plugin. When you have the error - copy the file /tmp/e.log - zip or rar it - and post here.

(4) With your post - give box and image names.

Regards, pcd.

killall -9 enigma2

Never do that (unless nothing else works).

init 4 should enough and if that doesn't work, use killall enigma2.

I don't read PM -> if you have something to ask or to report, do it in the forum so others can benefit. I don't take freelance jobs.
Ik lees geen PM -> als je iets te vragen of te melden hebt, doe het op het forum, zodat anderen er ook wat aan hebben.

I started using that on dreamboxes - because otherwise the tv picture did not return properly.

Perhaps init 4 is enough with openpli - I have not tested.
