I have a Vu+ Duo running latest version of Openpli 4.0 image and i also use Metrix HD Skin when i press ok and info bar comes across bottom of screen picon use to be shown in bottom left but nothing . I have picons saved in picon folder in internal HDD but nothing showing, although they do show in mini form in channel list please advise to why this does not work anymore ??

Ask question to Metrix HD skin they use another specific picon folder name because they used what they called Xpicons (or something like this) so those ones must be put in a specific folder.

Better put the 220x132 XPicons in /usr/share/enigma2/XPicons/picon and the normal 100x60 picons in /usr/share/enigma2/picon.
Not on the HDD.
