Hi
I'm running the above reciever as a server with oscam, but on any of the Pli images I have tried when accessing webif it starts the spinner going and locks the screen up, the only way to remedy for this is to pull the power and reboot.
does anybody know the cause of this and is there a fix please.

There are no OpenPLi images for clone boxes...
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

No, there is not.
We only produce images for genuine DM800SE's. All others are illegal copies (our code is open source, our name and artwork isn't), for which we don't provide support.

You give the answer yourself! "On any of the Pli versions". There are/exist modified OpenPli versions for E-Star and other clones. The software is taken from OpenPli's Open-Source and are modified for specific boxes. So the clone makers can tell "It's an original because it runs OpenPli". This serves only to boost sales and fool potential buyers.
Original OpenPli 4.0 does not run on clone boxes..

any clone with A8P sim behave as original and accept only original stuff,so you can run openpli 4.0 without any modification

Possible, but not the point.
OpenPLi is only supported on genuine hardware for which we create an image, see the list on the homepage. It is explicitly not supported on clones / copies.
